The director of Lambda Legal's Constitutional Litigation department was named an associate judge of the circuit court of Cook County, Ill.
Logue's 14-year tenure at Lambda Legal began with the opening of its Midwestern regional office in Chicago in 1993 as managing attorney, according to a written statement. She has also served on the national level as interim legal director and senior counsel. She also sat on the group's board of directors for five years.
Logue's past cases include serving as one of the lead attorneys in Lawrence v. Texas, which struck down all remaining sodomy laws in the United States.
